Team Bath RG Families
A Team Bath RG Welfare Officer will be available all weekend and first aid is available at the Team Bath reception.
Volunteering
As Bath Open is our main fundraiser for the year for the club, all squad parents are expected to be available to help during the whole event. Without your help, the competition cannot run, so thank you in advance.
All volunteers receive free entry the day they volunteer, as well as free teas/coffees.
You will be receiving all the details in advance of the event and we ask that you please appear 15 minutes before your allotted volunteering time and go to the volunteer desk to register, outside the warm-up hall.
The volunteer schedule will be available here, once the competition schedule has been confirmed.
Your gymnast:
What to bring and wear
Please make sure your child brings a packed lunch, plenty of snacks and a bottle of water. Due to a serious nut allergy, we ask that no one brings any nuts or anything containing peanut butter with them. The café at the Sports Centre will be open during our competition.
Please send your gymnast in wearing club kit (competition kit if you have it, otherwise a royal blue Team Bath RG top with black leggings/shorts), with hair tied up into a bun. Gymnasts are welcome to wear a little bit of make-up, if they wish.
Rec Gymnasts
If you have a club leotard, please wear it (all gymnasts in Level 1 and 2 need a club leotard for march on) . If you don’t have a club leotard, please get in touch with Sarah D (bath.rhythmic.recclass@gmail.com).
If the gymnast is hiring a leotard, please make sure an underleotard/body is worn underneath the hired leotard.
We also ask that gymnasts do not use any coloured or glitter hairspray inside the Sports Centre (this damages the sports hall floor). Don’t forget to remind your gymnast about apparatus, if they are bringing their own.
When to drop them off and with whom
This will be updated once we have the actual timings.
